I’ve built and run financial systems since 2018, the last few years at DNB Markets. Day to day I mostly write TypeScript and Java, and I also do regular development work on the mainframe. Since early 2026 much of my time has gone into AI.

Focus

  • AI in regulated industries

    I build agents, MCP servers and RAG systems. A large part of the work is evaluating the output and redacting personal data before it reaches a language model.

  • Mainframe and newer platforms

    I do regular development in COBOL, DB2 and batch alongside Java and TypeScript. That makes it easier to connect new services to the old ones.

  • Operations and monitoring

    I have a background in SRE and DevOps. I work with Kubernetes, Helm, Prometheus and Grafana for the services we run.

  • Leadership

    IT lead since 2022, responsible for what the team delivers. I still write code and take part in the technical decisions.
